Destination: Drakes Den
Rating:
Plymouth and Beyond Star Rating

General - Drakes Den is the newest indoor soft playcentre in Plymouth. It is aimed at children from 0 plus. They have a small area for babies and a specific 2 level toddler area for children under 3, a main frame for older children including an astro slide, a seperate indoor football pitch and to one side there is a specific ride on area with a play track and house.

Food and Drink - There is a coffee shop at the Den where you can buy simple food, snacks and drinks.

Disabled - Accessibility is excellent and they have a disabled access lift from the cafe to the play area which is great for any disabled parents who may visit.

Toilets - There are toilets and changing facilities on site.

Children - This is a place for children and so needs are well met, including changing facilities for babies and high chairs in the coffee shop. There is a security gate system so children can't just get out into the car park, but there was one thing that bothered me, there was not a gate across the top of the steps leading up to the play area, which is a little worrying when you have a toddler running around.

Car Parks - Drakes Den has ample free parking, and it is easy to find.
